Default EXHAUST STACKS need feedback

ok i have been asking around forever and i am finally confiding in you fine gentlemen to assist me in picking an exhaust... im not sure if i want to get like a flowmaster system... i want noise, in and out of cab i dont care... i have about 1000 to play around with +/- a few dollars. i havent found ANYONE who has stacks but i have seen them. i need a place to do it to (in west chester, PA) so if anyone has any insight on this... HOOK ME UP!

and i also need a mid-range air intake... my gas is tipping right now with the prices---- is a chip worth it?

2003 dodge ram 1500 (short bed, single cab)

Stacks on a gasser is just plain ugly. If you had a cummins, then I would say go for it. Just run Flowmaster Super 40 if you want loud and I like the look of duals out the side near the bumper. Just my .02.

Stacks look better on a diesel because you can make them smoke. Plus if you put a 4"-6" diameter stacks on a gasser you would loose a lot of backpressure.
The super 40 alone may cost $100. I think on eBay I seen it from $65 and up.
