Borla Cat Back exhaust
I am looking into a new exhaust for my 2004 Dodge hemi. Someone pointed me towards the borla and said it is the best made. I was wondering if anyone of you knowledgable folks can help me here.
I want to gain some power and all, but dont want the noise. Is this possible? The rumble of the flowmaster I had on my old truck just made everyday highway driving less enjoyable. Sure it was nice to punch it from a dead stop and scare the neighbothood kids. But for my drive back and forth to work it was just a headache.
I wouldnt mind a low rumble but I do not want to break windows.
Any ideas or suggestion would be appreciated.

I have heard both Borla and Corsa systems on the Hemi, and they are probably the "milder" of the bunch - they give nice tone when you're on the pedal, and at 1500K-2200K RPM they are hardly noticeable. My advice - before you shell out 600+ for a top-o-the-line stainless system, make sure it will be as loud as you want it - if you don't do a lot of towing or long distance trips with kids, you'll be kicking yourself when you hear another Hemi roll by with a flowmaster/magnaflow system that is much louder and deeper - and only cost $250.......
I've had my Super 40 Series Flowmaster for about 2 months. I don't think there's too much interior resonance with these mufflers. A friend of mine had an '04 1500 with Magnaflows and he even says how much deeper the Flowmasters are. Sounds good when you punch it too.
