I heard for the first 1,000 miles with a new vehical your not suppose to gun it or really try to break it in so I guess it would make sence not to try to put to much of a load on it for the first 500miles or so interesting, and from what Ive been told by my uncle your really not getting all the power out of your vehical untill after 10,000 miles or at least thats what the dealer told him with his 02' viper..... Also I have that tow/haul button on my 05 ram 1500 and from what I can tell from it it definately increases the torque but I never knew that it turned off my gears in the process......

On the 06 ram it does not let the transmission shift into 5th gear, it does not allow the torque converter to lock up and it disables MDS.

I thought MDS wasnt available in a Mega Cab ... ??? I mention a 2nd tranny cooler because the Tow/ Haul/OD topic / feature is directly related to the possibility of tranmission overheating.
