quick question?
I have a 2004 hemisport and ive noticed alot of u guys are getting 14+ mpg, im only gettin 11.3 if im lucky. Only thing i have is a k&n air filter, and 3" flowmaster. Also does anyone have pictures of cleared headlights? and Has anyone smoked the tailights? ive heard people mix up some black and clearcoat, and spray the light to smoke em, but i dunno how it will look or how to mix it?

Is that in town or highway? Highway in my '05 5.7L 4x4 QC I get up to 17 mpg on long stretches. Around town, though, I average about 12 mpg.

I get about 11-12 in town, but this is bumper to bumper, stop and go, with no speed greater than 45. On the highway, I had the best of 18 mpg last trip home to see my parents this was at night with little traffic with the cruise set at 75. I just switched to Mobil 1 in the crankcase and rear diff. I have a 3 hour trip coming up this weekend. I'll report back after that to see if there is a difference.
I get about 14.5 average around town and to/from work with speeds posted of 40 mph. I took a long trip this weekend 9 hours driving) and averaged 17.1 mpg. I bought cleared out headlights cause I liked the look of the clear lense instead of breaking out the amber one. Plus I got half off the normal price of $215. Check out my gallery.
