Default 06 Radio Question

Has anybody with an 06 ram and their basic radio tried to play a burned CD? I thought I would check before I went to the dealer. I have just the regualr cd player and it will play store bougth, but not the burned copies. The format is the basic format to where it will play in all players.

That is what I thought. I knew it wouldn't play MP3, but I was pretty sure it should play a straight copy. I guess I'll have to take mine in, because it refuses to play a copied cd. Thanks

Default RE: 06 Radio Question

Make sure you "finalized" the CD or closed out the volume... I ran into this issue with quite a few cd players... Some will play un-finished discs, but none of the OEM car stereos I tried would play them... My 03 with the base model radio played my home roasted discs fine once I remembered to finalize them. (With the exception of the uber-high capacity discs.) just use the 650mb ones.. some are finicky... depending on brand, I could use some 700mb discs... but they had to be memorex or fuji...
