Default I have to sell my Ram...

Unfortunately, due to circumstances I must sell my Dodge Ram. I've seen similar Rams selling anywhere from $17 - $23...that's a pretty big range to me.

I have an '04 Ram (ext. is gray, int. is gray/tan?; HEMI engine, SLT trim and Sport package, 25k miles, quad cab...and you guys are probably familiar with all the other features w/o me going into detail. She is in excellent condition.

My question is: How much can I realistically get for her in either a private sale or a trade-in? If location matters, I live in Atlanta.

Once I establish a reasonable price, I will post her in the Dodge Forum classifieds.

Thanks.

Trade will be abysmal, lucky to get 19-20K for it. Private, maybe 22K. Check NADA and KBB for reference. Of course you can just look in the paper or autotrader online to get an idea of what they are going for.

Hope the circumstances surrounding you getting rid of your Ram improve.

I just sold my 03 1500 quad 4.7 with 20K miles yesterday for $18,500 in south Florida which happens to be one of the stronger P/U truck markets. I promptly went to the dealer and bought a 06 2500 cummins.

when we bought my 2004 ram slt qc 4.7 it was 17500 from the dealer. and that was right at bluebook value too so im guessing private party value you could get18-19 for it but i personally wouldnt pay it.
