Default Warranty Question

I have the 70,000 bumper to bumper warranty on my 05' Ram 1500 and I was wondering what all I can do to increase the power without voiding any warranties? From what I've heard dodge is kind of **** about that sorta thing, and advise or tips?

You have the 7/70 powertrain warranty, your bumper to bumper is 3/36. As far as increasing power, an intake and exhaust package wont void the warrenty, also an underdrive pulley would help, this doesnt add power but frees it up. Click here for info.

I could of sworn that my bumper to bumper warranty was longer than 3yr/36 cause I think I payed an extra amount in order to get that extended. Im getting an exhaust package installed on saturday, so I know that that wont void anything I want to do an intake next but I wasnt sure on what I could do that wont void any engine warranties or what not, I know Im on the paraniod side but its a bran new truck my first new vehicle so I dont know what can or cant be done without voiding anything and I really cant afford anything to be vioded.

Your 7/70 warranty is good. The 3/36 covers the no pay for warranty work, the remainder requires that you pay I believe is the first 150.00, the rest is covered by D/M. I purchased the 7/100,000 for mine because I cover a lot of miles in a year. I'm just over 1 year now with more than 24k. As you can see, I'll use up the 3/36 in about 1 1/2 year. My truck has the manual tranny in it, which they fitted a dual mass flywheel on the accomodate the power of the Hemi. It is new to this size of truck, and I feel that the extra insurance may be well worth the cost, But I seriously hope not

Stay out of engine internals and you should be fine. Intake, exhaust, headers, etc are good. No cams or port and polish or stuff.
