Just bought 03 ram 1500 2wd hemi, looks like it has been lowered about 2 inches in the rear. Am looking for original shackels. I'm curious how much better the ride will be? Looks like every one is lowering so there should be a lot of factory shackels laying around reasonably priced? Where's the best place to look other than dealer? Thanks

 

The ride won't be any better and it won't look as good (at least in my opinion anyway.) If you aren't sure whether or not it has been lowered then look at the shackles. if they are silver w/ black bushings or grey w/ red bushings then they are aftermarket (these are the most common colors for lowering shackles). if it does have aftermarket rear shackles i think you should leave them. the truck will look a lot better with them.
