nice to see another mega!!
Yeah .. ofcourse
..... I had to trim it up again .. get the sway control and weight distro right ... This truck sits a bit higher then the 05 in the avatar so I need to drop the ball on the WDH. One thing I did notice on me first pull was ... damn .... this setup is looooooonnnnngggg ... better make real sure I leave myself a "way out". Fueling at a non friendly camper stations will be interesting to say the least.
As far are performance. I do notice a slight difference starting from stop signs, red lights etc etc. Mainly I believe this to be due to the 3.73, had 3.92 on the 05, and the added weight. But by no means was/is it a pig. Little extra gas and off she goes. Performance once up to speed is identical to the quad cab. Mileage is about the same .. 8-10 miles per gallon. I travel with 5, wifey, my step son 15, Oldest Daughter 8 and the little one shown in the pic, 5. So towing the camper is still cheaper then trying to pay for one of those studio hotel rooms ... and we get a chance to see the country and spend time together. I love my kids dearly and spend as much time as I can with the little monsters
... the oldest is watching over my shoulder ...
