someone posted that you can remove the ameber from you headlights! so i tried it.on the 06 i got the amber strip on the bottom will it still work? well back to my story after fighting to remove the the last nut from behind the light in the fender well.i finally was able to remove the headlight.so,i started to remove the second unbolted allmost everything then i stop and tried to take out the amber in the first one.i tried on cut the black **** that holds the clear lens to the light houseing(? don't know name sounded good enough)well to make a long story longer i tried to shove a flat head inbetween them.ha yaeh right that work good! I stabed myself in the hand.bleeding all over i throw the f#cking screwdriver wanted to throw the light but couldn't afford another one.well after wraping my hand and cleaning the headlight i was still pissed so i put it back together.aint f#cked with it sence. ok heres the question can i remove the amber from a 06 headlight?please give some info on easiest way?before i try and attempt it again?

I put a screwdriver completely through the meaty part of my hand once, you know between the thumb and pointer. Stood and looked at if for a few seconds, held it up to show my friends. Then the guy I was working with that was standing next to me yanked it out real quick.

It is one of those things you only do once.
