I am picking up an 06 CTD 2500 quad cab this evening. It doesn't come with the fold down thing under the rear seat like my 02 had. And I REALLY liked that. So, does anyone know the interchagability of these? I have an 02 right now, just wondering if I could pull it out of that one and install it in my new one? Or if I go on Ebay and try and find one if I can get one of those to work. Thanks everyone.

The 2006 fold flat load storage seems REALLY really cheap to me... Plastic covered in some kind of cheap carpet or something like that... I prefer my metal fold flat load storage...

 

I picked up a floor from another model year Ram and put it in my 06 with no problems other than finding the correct nuts to hold it down.

 

There is actually a bolt on "MAT" for the fold down floor? I just went to Home Depot and picked up a peice of hallway rug, it comes on a HUGE roll and you just take the length you need... I think I took like 6 feet or so. Got any pics of this mat?

I hope jrlaidle was referring to the folding flat floor which is made of steel, otherwise I'm gonna have to stop drinking while on-line!

 

Yeah I was reffering to the metal folding floor thingy. Just didn't know what to call it. Derwood, what did you end up doing for the nuts? Dealer? Thanks.
