Default Sirius with RBQ Questions

I'm looking to get Sirius radio in the future, and I have a couple of questions around the options that are presented.

I'd really like to keep the stock look of my interior and have been reading up on a unit from Mopar. This looks promising as it appears to let me continue using my stock radio (model RBQ) and steering wheel controls with the unit. However, in a couple of other posts I've seen it been hinted that the RBQ head unit does not display the Artist/Song Name along with the Channel Number and Channel Name.

1. Can someone confirm that if I install the Mopar unit, I'll be able to view the Artist/Song Name information?
2. Does anyone have experience with installing one of the units that are installed on the dash? Are they any better or worse than the Mopar unit?
3. If I do end up going with the "on the dash" unit, is it possible to wire it into the radio so that I don't have to use the FM Modulator?

Thanks for everyone's help!!!

Default RE: Sirius with RBQ Questions

I believe you are correct and the RBQ will not show song title information, I'm pretty sure only the navigation radios show it. Unfortunatly though I don't think there are any aux input adapters for the RBQ, yet, to hard wire a "on the dash" unit with an aux input. This is the next best thing to use http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/SIRIU...oductDetail.do , you would need a couple other parts I think because the factory antenna cable is not standard.

If you want to see this is how I installed my plug n play https://dodgeforum.com/m_470738/tm.htm
