Default Who's does this....

Noticed something the other day when I started up the truck. I saw the lights, in the top center part of the instrument cluster between the speedo and tach, ever so faintly flash about once a second. It was pretty dark out and there was no interrior lights on yet. Take a peek and see if yours does it too. Don't know what it means just curious if it's normal or if my aftermarket alarm may be doing something.

its ur alarm, mine does it too but it's nothing bad so dont worry about it. It didnt do it before i had the system installed but it doesnt mean anything its just when the alarm disengages and the power is freed it causes a surge, it wont hurt anything so dont worry bro.

The alarm sends the illumination signal to the parking lights and they all flash fully on then off when engaging/disengaging the alarm. The very faint flash once per second is when it's running, lights off, alarm disengaged. BTW have a VIPER alarm system connected to the factory keyless entry system.

I have noticed that my high beam indicator will flash, sometimes brighter than others. I don't have an alarm system of any kind so I am not sure what causes it.
