Default just hit 30,000

Just hit 30 on my 04 1500 hemi. Its running good still no missing should i still change out all the sparkplugs anyway?

remove them and look at them, i'd clean them with a wire brush if they arent too bad. Also, look into having your tranny flushed, it says 30,000 in the manual.

I just passed 30k and truck was running great. I changed the plugs and increased mpg by 1.5. Truck seemed to be more responsive after the plug change also. I used the rec champions (p/n 570). I changed them myself and it was not a problem, just make sure you have a good plug socket (stays on the extender, holds plug firmly) and one short and one long extender.

Thanks I will get new sparkplugs and change them out. have been getting about 14 MPG so another 1.5 mpg would be nice, and will look into a shop to get the tranny flushed as well.

Are you talking about standard socket extensions or did you have to use a flexible extension? I have heard that changing the plugs was a tough job, did you think it was extra-ordinarily hard?
