My left brake/turn lamp isn't working for my trailer lights (no juice back to either plug in back). I've traced it back to a connector just behind the front fenderwell and still no juice to the left light (yellow wire) with the hazards flashing.. Fuse is good and I can hear the relay clicking, although for the life of me I can't actually find the trailer tow relays in the fuse center.

Any ideas? Where are the trailer tow relays?

I'm stumped short of pulling the fuse center and checking on the connectors coming out of the bottom of the box. Help!!! [:@]

 

I had a problem with mine. Itwas a fuse and there is a seperate one for the trailer. May even be two if i remember

 

Yep, there are (2) separate fuses for the trailer lights and they're both good. Still no juice to the left brake/turn light on the trailer plug.

 

Smitty, I am having the exact same problem you are having. Mine is an 03 2500 Ram. I can clearly hear the relays clicking in the power module, the left doesn't sound the same. It is alot louder and doesn't have a smooth click like the right does. However i can't figure out where it is. There is no label stating what # relay is for the left trailer tow relay or the right trailer tow relay. The fuses are labeled, no problem locating those (two 15 amp). I have hunted for a problem in the wiring and plugs and they all seem to be fine and testing out ok. But i just can't find the relays that are supposed to be there. Even tried pulling one relay at a time with the left turn signal on to see which one would quit. Hmmmmm! Had every one out and still had the relay clicking somewhere in the power module. Could these relays be inside this module? And how can you get a peek inside without messing something up in the process?
