Default Better way to spend the $400??

I want to do a little bit of performance upgrades on my 03' hemi ram. I want to buy a Hypertech power programmer III, but i dont know if it is worth the money. You can only gain around 21-30hp, and save a little bit of gas mileage. I really want it to fix the lag in the transmission.
Is their a cheaper way to fix up my truck??
Or does anybody already have this programmer they want to sell? They have to be reuseable. I just think those chips are wayy over priced. I can't think of any other mild performance upgrade other than a cold air intake which i will get after i save up enough to buy the SRT-10 hood, and getting a new muffler which im doing sometime this week.

They're overpriced, but you'll realize more HP/fuel savings then you would with that $300 Air Intake or muffler. They're worth the money in the long term. I'd suggest you check out our sponsors and see if any of them carry the programmer, as you will get a discount on it thru them.
