Default new guy

well yesterday I went from the gerenal to a dodge. I traded my 1998 pontiac trans am in on a 2005 1500 hemi quad cab 2wd with 34,000 miles on it. this is the first dodge I have ever owed. I figure my first mods will be a new hood, wheel and tires, and a sound system. A question I have is whats a good sounding exhaust for these trucks. I have always been into cars so I only know a lil bit about trucks. any help would be great thanks

The exhaust depends on what your looking for as far as tone is concerned.
Alot of guys love the flowmasters. I don't. They tend to have a more hollow sound and in my opinion get annoying on long rides. They are loud though and they get peoples attention.
I prefer a magnaflow. It has a deep low tone, not as loud as a flowmaster but loud enough when you put your foot in it.
It's all preference. I would talk to a local exhaust shop and have them tell you what you can expect with each set up.

well I had a flowmaster on my trans am and it was lound as hell kinda to lound for me. plus it was know with the ls1's that the flowmaster exhaust was the worse for them. Im thinking magnaflow, corsa, or gibson for the dodge.
