need an opinion
Ok yes this is another exhaust question so forgive me but has anyone on here used or is still using a Borla Cat-Back Exhaust System on their Ram? I have an 05' Ram 1500 SC with the 5.7L Hemi and I wanna do something with the exhaust that isnt like all the flowmasters on the road (no offence to them cause they are a great system I'm just looking for something different) and the Borla system I'm looking at just seems to be of higher quality so does anyone have anything good or bad to say about them?
Thanks
Thanks
Borla is great, just out of the price range for a lot of truck owners. I think you can't go wrong with a Borla, it will be quieter than a flowmaster in general but has a great tone nonetheless.
I got my Borla Cat-Back Exhaust System put on today finaly and I gotta say Im impressed...... Sitting at a light/parked or at cruising speed going down the freeway you can barely hear a low rumble if any and no intearior drone noises either, but as soon as you give it some gas you get this nice deep throaty roar, not to mention the obviouse power gains you can feel when you stomp on the pedal..... Also my fuel economy went up, I couldnt believe it, it went from 14.5mpg around town to 17.2mpg around town according to my overhead console.... but never the less Im very pleased and impressed with it!!!!
The only thing I would change would be the tips cause they're a little to bulky for my liking. But would changing just the tips change the sound any?
