Not going to get into a big long description... Just thought you guys would like to hear that I pulled on a black SS the other night. We met up going about 50, caught eyes and went WOT. I felt like I was a little slower in downshifting, but once I caught second I pulled away handily and had a length by 75. I addition to the mods listed below I have recently put on a TB spacer and pulley kit. (probably y I was willing to open it up in the first place)

Don't need much to beat a Silvardo SS a superchip and you would probably beat one. Have seen ram's with just a superchip run a 14.6 while the SS's run a 14.9 maybe a 14.8 with a GREAT launch.

 

...well, I got my a$$ handed to me by one last friday... well not by much...we took off from a stoplight, had em bout a half a truck length for 200 ft...then he jus pulled me.... i talked to him at the nex light an found out he has LongTubes... i just had a Y-pipe fabbed and installed today...my truck feels so much stronger now... i prolly can at least keep up with him... and i still have to install my 6.1 cam as well as headers.... then i shud walk away...
