Flowmaster Super 40 owners - do you love it, and does it produce a horible drone? I may come offf as a dumb****, will all my different posts and questions, but I really want to make sure i get make the right purchase.

I have listed to all the clips online of different mufflers and i can't really tell a difference or get a good feel for them.

I just ordered a super 40 based on the some of the ppl on this forum - i just wanted make sure i made a wise choice, i want a mean nasty sound - just don't want a horrible drone in the cab, i can live with a exhaust sound in the cab, but not some odd drone.

are you guys happy with yours, im going with a dual exhaust straight out the back with stainless steel tips

Thanks,

Boyd

I like the 50-series on my '03 Ram but if you want a "nasty sound" I think you'd prefer the 40-series. I have the 40-Series on a '73 RR and that is ..."nasty"!

Yes, there is a drone, but whether it is too loud or not is personal preference. It is not too loud to me because I am used to my Camaro's flowmaster and that **** is loud.
