Default RE: 2002 5.9 exhaust

On my 95 5.9 and my 01 5.2 I went with 2 different types of exhaust.

The 95 I pulled the cat, ran true duals with 2 40 series flowmasters, turn downs right past the rear end(diff).

On the 01 I did single in dual out 50 series with chrome tips out the back,

on my 99 (5.2) I did a single in dual out 50 with turndowns past the rear end(diff) No cat.

The 95 was my favorite, see it in my sig, it sounded great, and hauled butt too. I did the Mopar PCM, the exhaust, a K&N 'FIPK' which was nothing more than a 14" chrome breather. With a 3:55 rear end and 35" tires I was smoking the 'super fast' 96 and up Z-71s with the vortec engine, and they were on the stock 31s.

The 01 was the most mellow sounding, it was a 5sp 4wd and sounded nice.

The 99 was an Xcab, and it sounded good too. Not as loud as the 99 with true duals, but still pretty loud.
