4X2 Lift ....
I know I know…This has been discussed a MILLION GILLION Times…whether or not to lift a 4X2….well its my turn… I bought an 06 1500 QC With the Hemi… well guess what it’s a 4X2… The 4X4 was not an option because they did not have the color/wheel combo I wanted (Not to mention they were 4000 more give or take)… Well…I really don’t want to start a nother thread if I should lift or not…because I am going to..it’s how much that is in question…I really like the look of a clean lifted truck!… I was thinking of a 3 inch body lift and 33's or 35’s on the stock 20 inch wheels?…will this look stupid because I am not in a 4X4… The truck will not see off road that much…I am sure I will hit up some things while camping etc
… but what are some thoughts on what to do…do I go less of a lift?… bigger tires .. what looks really clean and not KILL gas mileage…and does any company make small body lift or otherwise for a 4x2…Thanks For the help!!!..... [sm=vader.gif] <---That Smiley kicks ***!!....LOL

I don't know much about 2WD's, but I just put a 3" body lift on my '05 4x4. I had the stock 20" daisies, but went down to a 17" wheel with 33" tires. The stock tires with the 20" wheel come out to just shy of 33", IIRC, so there won't be much difference there. I haven't noticed a big difference in gas mileage, but it's only been a week. I absolutely LOVE it. Just be advised, you WILL need to get wheel well liners, as that gap between the bed and frame is huge!
If you want to keep the stock 20's, make sure you look into tire prices. Those tires for 20" rims are fookin' expensive!
