Default Superchips question

I know with Superchips, once you reprogram the ECU you have to increase the fuel octance. My question is, when using the Superchips does it have to be premium or would mid-grade do? I ask because I'm already using mid-grade in the Hemi I drive right now. I want a Superchip really bad, if I can use it then I have a few Titans I want to kill!!!! Please let me know, I appreciate it.

there are 3 settings on the flashpaq:87 octane economy,91 octane towing and 91 octane performance. There is no 89 octane setting, but it takes only a couple minutes to change settings .It takes a few minutes to re-program the truck the first time, after that changing settings is real quick. My truck runs better on the 87 octane setting than it did stock and gets better fuel economy! The FlashPaq is a great tuner, you wont be disapointed if you get one.

You will be able to adjust your rev limiter and shift points,I have mine shifting at 6100 rpm, makes a huge difference in performance by itself just staying in the power longer!

You will add about 25 lb/ft of torque and about 15 HP.It does not sound like much, but it is a difference you will feel in the seat of your pants! It's a blast, even on the economy setting,it is an improvement over stock.

If you re-program with the FlashPaq and cant put an *** whoopin on a Titan, you did something wrong! LOl

The only truck that has bested me so far is a chebby with a shot of NOS,without the NOS,I ate his lunch!!

Yeah there is a guy with a SC Titan and a K&N Intake I cant stand him, the only reason he beat me was because of the shorter gears. Also, how high revs can the stock block take before packing up and heading south?

Don't bother trying the Hypertech unit. It did give you more HP but lost MGP and you don't get as many adjustable features. The extra features were nice (1/4 E.T.s, HP and such)

6000 to 6200 is ok without the threat of grenading the block, the 5.7 bottom end is real stout
