possible wrong factery order
picking up the truck Monday, for sure...But I have a problem...This truck is not what I factory ordered, I went to the dealers lot after hours and saw my last name on a quad cab 2500 Ram....I ordred a reg cab 2500, all the options and 6sp manual I picked were on the quad cab, now what are the odds some one with my last name bought the identical truck, but in quad cab...
Quad cab is useless for me as I need a reg cab 8 ft box for work.....I don't want a quad cab even tho it is more truck than what I paid for I believe the 5.7 hemi is too small to move a quad cab 2500, now if thier was a cummions under the hood, I would just sign away.....
I hope this is case of mistaken identity, on my copy of the invoice is the list of options, as for truck, all it says's is 2500 Ram SLT...I hope because quad cab is not in their, Reg cab is the logical asumption..

Where is your name on the pickup?
Custom ordered/built vehicle have the customers name on the Monroney Sticker (Factory window sticker).
Which means they ordered the wrong pickup in for you...that could be real bad for the dealer, but you would have no responsibility to take deliver if its not what you ordered.
Or is it someplace that the dealer wrote your name on it? It it was, maybe they just pulled the wrong vehicle off the lot....

my sales man mixed the dealer sales tags hanging on the rear view mirror...my factory order is correct, the other owner of his truck was talking to my sales person at the same time I was..
a couple days after I put in the paper work I asked my salesman to add the trailer tow mirrors/price to the truck, he did not readjust the paper work and I have the base size morriors, othier this very small adjustable item I'm happy,

Their mistake, not yours. Make sure you point out the error of their ways. I think they'll realize their mistake and make good on it. You may have to wait a few more days for your truck but in then end it'll work out. You'll see.
