Have any of you used Solar Gard on your front windows. If so- what exactly was it and the % that you used.

Supposed to get tint on Tues to match back windows Just making sure.

 

Most if not all states have laws that prohibit you from tinting the front windows COMPLETELY, check to see what the measurement is for the TOP of the window,thats what most allow. The shop should know that as well. Good luck.

% of light is the main issue then, too dark & you'll get stopped often!

 

I have black glass on my front side windows and a 7 inch strip across the top of my wind shield. I had my Eye doctor give me a perscription .I told him that the sun light was hard on my eye's and I took it to DMV ,and they gave me a permit to carry in my Custom PT and my Truck. The pT failed inspection last month because of the window tint. I showed them there permit and it passed. That Simple.
