Everyone i talk to says im crazy for wanting to put true duals on my 05 hemi ram. What gives? The 300c, magnum r/t and charger r/t all have dual exhaust systems why cant my ram? Every muffler shop in town wants to sell me a 1 in 2 out muffler or a 2 in 2 out muffler..i mean this truck has dual cats and it needs dual exhaust to go with them.

 

my friend just had his changed yesterday, he went from a single inlet flowmaster to true duals with 2 single in single out flowmasters, and it made it sound better, a little louder also, i don't know how it will affect his performance, i'm going ask him to race again when we get a chance though...

 

I have dual Flowmasters on my '05 Hemi SLT. I love the way it sounds, the guy that did it did an awesome job on it, and I love hearing it when I start it up and take off down the road. Do not think it really made a big performance difference, it is more cosmetic, and since it would allow for "rue" duals, the guy that did it recommended it. When he finished it, both he and the shop owner loved the job and actually came out to hear it as I left the shop.

 

My Daytona Ram came with dual, Borla exhausts. Sounds r e a l nice. If you want dual exhaust then you should be able to get them. Just tell your muffler shop. Nothing crazy about it.

mopar actually has a dual exhaust kit available but they are the winged style. one pipe on one side, one on the other. I don't like the look. You have to be careful with the 20" wheels. We have had two cases of spare tire starting on fire from straight back exhaust. If you want it it can be done though.
