Default Getting a strange knocking sound when turning

Getting a strange knocking sound when turning only happens every so often, like 1/5 or 1/8 times. Best i can tell it sounds like its coming from the front right. Recently installed a super 40 dual, Airaid MIT CAI, and bullet nerf bars.

Installing the nerf bars i had to take out a bolt underneath the front right, and install a longer bolt for the mounting kit.

I have no idea what the sound it, not sure if its something to do with a shock or what? Almost like its dipping a little, but i really can't tell.

Anyone have any thoughts - I don't really want to bring it in and have it inspected, as i fear they wont be able to reproduce it, and it will waste money?

I'd retorque the step bars. The body flexes a little as you turn and if you don't have them torqued correctly it can shift and make noise. Also, I've been told by a Dodge tech that the hoods have been known to make noise when turning. I didn't believe it until he showed me one. Make sure the bump stops are contacting the hood and the latch is greased up.

Check all the bolts and mounting brackets on all the stuff you just added to make sure nothing has come loose (this includes the exhaust system) and have someone ride with you or walk next to you when you turn cause an extra set of ears can help alot more with picking out the location too.
