Default Tire help

The 03 came with the stock 20's and 275/55-20 eagles. I conned the dealership outta 2 new ones when i bought the truck but the other 2 are looking sluggish. I was thinking about going up to 305/50-20 for the rear to kinda fill that gap we all hate. I was looking at these http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....e1=yes&place=0 best in class? First review there is a guy that has the ram (kinda ironic). What do you guys think? It is 2wd

Now that is a good looking tire at a good looking price! I am still on the GY's and I can not stand them and can not wait till they wear out (which looks like will be quick). How are they for load? I didn't look close enough to see the load and temp ratings. Anything but these cheap a** GY's has got to be a world of improvement! This would be a SOOOO much nicer truck if they would sell it off the shelf with a decent set of shoes on it. I had an 02 with 17" on it. Had one out of 4 tires that was 20, yes, no joke, 20 ounces out of balance. That my friends is GY quality control for you!

I know you are looking for tiress for the stock 20's, but I put Pro Comp A/T's on mine when I went down to 17" wheels. HORRY SHEET!!!! What a difference. I'll NEVER go back to those stock Goodyear's again, even if I do for some-odd reason put the 20's back on. They would break loose if the 10 day forecast even hinted at rain. It took A LOT of pedal to break the new AT's loose. FARK those stock GY's!

Yeah basically that is the idea. The rear sits higher to start with which means the gap from th etire to the wheel well is larger , which in turn makes your tires look smaller in the rear. Plus it would be temp until i got a leveling kit and matching tires. They only have 3500 miles on them. Might sell them to someone if they are interested...

Nice lookin' tires and all, but even with leveling the front, I think rubbing would be your main problem with the wider tire, which leveling wouldn't alleviate, AFAIK. The rear obviously won't have that problem as there's no turning, but the front would be significantly wider.

Am I off-base here?

Bud I gotta tell you right now that the bigger tires only in the back will look all sorts of goofy. Can I get some back-up?
