I have had my truck for about a month now, '05 1500 Hemi QC. It appears that there is something that forces the transmission to shift from first to second at aboout 4K, unless it slams down from third or above and then it will rev to about 5700 . Will the shift settings on the superchip fix this? I had one on an '02 Ford Super Crew I had before this, and I couldn't tell the difference in the shifts except maybe a little faster. The other gears seem to be able to rev to the rev limiter, but not first. Also, the same governer (?) does not allow reving the engine above 4K when in park, want to show of those pipes once in awhile. Will adjusting the rev limiter adjustment with the tuner solve this or is the rev adjustment just for the top end rpm's.
