Bought one last friday. Downloaded the updates. Tuner freezes during programming. Contacted superchips. They were aware of the problem and are going to notify me when they have a solution.

It is fixed.
Log into flashpaq.com and download the firmware version 1.05.
It fixed the initialization problem that the 06's were having.

Checked on your info. Your right. Downloaded updates and everything works fine. Big power differance. Still won't turn the tires off the line but good power once your moving.

I drive a 06 1500 QC 4x4 5.7 with 3.92 axle and anti-spin differential. 20" tires. It will not light them up. The superchip does make quite a differance in power not just shift patterns. You can remove the top speed limiter with the superchips also. $500 doesn't buy much in high performance parts and exhaust so I think its pretty good bang for the buck.

I was talking to a buddy today who has an 04 hemi with headers, airaid, superchip, and a new exhaust... not sure what kind but anyway... he said he wasn't able to spin the tires either... maybe it is the weight... or maybe the rear end... I do have a LSD though... Have you talked to anyone else that has used a Hypertech programmer????
