i just bought a 04 Ram 1500 4x4. can anyone tell me if you need any other aftermarket parts for a 4 inch spindle lift? i heard i will need aftermarket control arms? thanks
My buddy put a 6" lift on his with spindles and springs, and he didnt replace the control arms. I have heard that they aren't very heavy duty though, so if you plan on hardcore off-roading, I would look into new control arms, don't want them to break...
No problem... When it comes to lifts, factory control arms are always the weak point, especially on our rams. His truck has had the lift on for about 5 mos. now with no problems.
