Default Hemi with a Turbo?

I am not sure if this is something that my skill level is up to, or my wallet for that matter, but I have been toying with the idea of putting a turbocharger into my 05 Ram 2500. Mostly, I am not sure what the right way is to go about accomplishing this. I look on EBay and stuff for turbos, but there are nothing vehicle specific. I have found remote turbo chargers, but I am not thrilled with having my air intake in the mud or spending $4500 to do this. I have looked into just buying parts piece by piece, like a T3/T4 and some oiling stuff, psi selector, but not sure about what to do about exhaust/ intake piping. I was even thinking of scavenging junk yards for a wrecked diesel. Well, in short any information is appreciated.

Don't skimp when it comes to getting your parts. You'll be nothing but frustrated. The rear mounts will cost a little less because you don't have the exhaust work headaches. You can also run a smaller wastegate with a rear mount because of the cooler/denser exhaust gas at the rear. The difference in the smaller to the larger wg can be about $200. The front mount will need the larger wg. The STS kits use a Garrett T60-1 and GT67. Both are nice turbo's. kenihemi can get you an STS setup for about $3600 and then srt10kllr can get you an SMT6, 8 new injectors, 2 bar map and tune for another $1000. For a front mount, I'd recommend at least a T60-1 with a 40mm Tial wg. I'm not sure on the AR. We have a .96 AR for our STS setups but that's a rear mount. Could be the same for the front but you will have a different spooling level. Don't go less than a .96
