Default Auto Meter Tach wiring...

I have an autometer tach. I need to know where run the wire that actually registers the RPM's? Any ideas?

Default RE: Auto Meter Tach wiring...

I have the same problem, every other wire is hooked up except the tach wire...I says to install it on the tach terminal (do not have) or the ignition coil negative side...and that is where it gets confusing...ya see, there is an ignition coil on top of all the spark plugs, not just one...no distributor, no wires...no tach

I've tried to splice into one of the coil wires (both seperately) and nothing...the ignition coil goes into the PCM...and there it looses me, cuz the cd manual I have does not show my PCM it shows one but not my model, I have a 2003 3.7 V6...with 3 connectors up to the PCM, the cd manual shows 4 connectors up to the PCM.

I am gonna call the dealership tomorrow and see what they say...I wish myself luck!!!
