Default spring rates

Does any one know what the spring rate is for the front coils on a 04 1500 quad cab ram with a 4.7 2wd. I am building a coilover set up but want to get as close to the factory spring rates as possible but cant seem to find the info any where... Thanks

You might have to run the springs into a spring shop and have them compressed for rate.

Have you called a local spring shop yet to see if they might know?

Ya I have called around and no one can give me an actual answer to the rates. My dad works in the parts dept at Avondale Dodge here in Phoenix and he search all day and could not find anything at all. I guess my only hope is that KING COILOVERS can get a pretty good estimate by using the front axle weight of the truck.
