Is it worth it to put headers on a 5.7? I'm going to put dual exhaust on my truck and psoosibly a CAI othier wise my 06 is stock, I have no intention of playing with chips or tuners, truck is a 2500 reg can 5.7 with 6sp trans.

 

May I ask why you wont mess with a tuner? The superchips is worth it.

 

fear of the unknown and if any warranty issues should arise, I don't want to fight with chrysler, I don't trust the little black or red box's that can set every thing back to stock tune, the physical, bolt on stuff I understand, If I even look at a tuner, the Plug and Play stuff, I will set missels of in the Dakota's ( state ) or in Kansis.

I hopping to get a little extra performance and economy via the old fashoned way.
