Default Help

My 2004 Ram 4X4 hemi. I keep getting this erroe code P0406 can any one tell me how to fix this?

In the FSM, group9, page 458.

From what the FSM explanation says, it looks like the sweep on the egr sensor is reading high voltage.

Replace the EGR valve, you can't break into it to do anything. What you might try first though, is to pull the electrical plug to the EGR solenoid, clean it, re-connect. Pull the PCM fuse to reset the code and see if it comes back. If it does, replace the EGR Valve. And again reset the PCM.
