Default cutouts and torque

okay, i know that u lose torque when adding a cutout and its open but when it closes do you get ALL of it back or do you still lose torque or.....does the extra deadend cause more backpressure/torque? I mean i use the truck for hauling etc and still need torque but I dont want an exhaust system i would but i dont want the noise at all, when i want a sound i can open it up and then when i want to relax i can close it....so whats up guys do i lose/gain/break even on torque?
