I don't think I have the mds on mine (4.7). My pipes are cut just aft of the cats and pipes welded in. The truck is far from sounding like a rice burner. It actually has a very throaty sound to it. I have no cross over in the system. For the horses we are running a crossover only serves to quiet the vehicle.
