does anyone know how hard it is to change the front bumper from the chrome one to the painted one ? i might get a stock one like the sports packages have or and aftermarket one. i want to get a roll pan but dont think it will look right with a chrome bumper. thanks guys.

 

to replace the front one i believe u have to get more then just the bumper u have to replace all the stuff underneath its not just a simple swap but once u have all the correct stuff it should not take to long

 

I belive that the two bumpers have different impact absorbing material... the front bumper on the sports is p;astic

 

what you want to do man is but a bumper cover, street scene makes one that goes over ur chrome one, i had the other kinda of bumper not the chrome or the sport the grayish looking one and i put the bumper cover right over it. if you want the sport bumper, or the srt-10 bumper you would need to replace the whole thing you need need a new support beam, and new caps. Why? you might ask you self the srt-10 and the sport bumpers you see are just covers. Unlike ur chrome bumper which is the whole bumper. where the sport and srt-10 are just covers over the real thing? Under Stand?

 

the sport 9s not a cover over the real thing... it is a plastic bumper with crush foam behind it.... completly different design.
