All that money and all that work and not a single pair of fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror.

For shame.......

lol thats my next investment im going to get some black ones with some 22" spinners in em!! lol...by the way how do i remove the amber side markers off the headlights or would i have to buy them like that?? also how can i debadge everything safely without damaging the paint?? and does anyone know where i can buy smoked tailights? i heard that a cheaper way of doing it would be to have somebody use really dark window tint and it will have the same look anyone else heard of this?

with the headlights, I took my heat gun and softened the RTV sealant so I could pull the clear cover off. then I just knocked off the heat welds on the back of the marker and the thing fell off. took the heat gun again and cleaned off as much of the old RTV as I could, applied new and put back together after cleaning the inside to remove fingerprint smudge marks.

the tabs will break, but the sealant if layered thick enough will seal up good.

to debadge, dental floss or fishing line can be used to cut the badge off, then use turtle wax bug and tar remover or something similar that wont damage the clear coat to remove the glue.

My friend did his tail lights by having them put a layer of dark tint on them. It would be cheaper but if its legal or not I dont know. As for the Amber in the lights and the debadging do a search on this site Ive seen tons of posts about them on here. Otherwise I have seen the darker smoked tail lights in a few catalogs.

damn, that truck is f*ckin sweet. I think that you should keep the badges because the chrome looks tight with the black. What i think would look tight on your truck is to ghost the stripes into the truck or maybe chamellion (sp?) so that from one angle the truck looks all black and from another angle the truck looks like it had grey stripes.
