yeah a turbo would be great but I am tring to get a big bang for small bucks, I set myself a limit so my wife would not kick my *** I set it a 3000 and I can get my truck in great shape with that as long as I get get some help from my dodge buddies on here, to find the right places to shop. Every little bit of info will help thanks guys

 

well if you set your self a spending limit of 3k the turbo and super charger is out of the pic, but go ahead and do the header, exhaust and intake and then some gears along with a superchips to change the tuning and that will probably spend you money really well... go luck and were here to help [8D]

If you want a seriously fast truck and have 3k to spend here is what will get you into the low 13's. Headers, Exhaust, Cold-air intake, superchip, 4.56gears, and lastly the KRC 210cam which gives you 30-35HP for $400. All that and you still will have $200-350 left over for gas Now come home safe and enjoy a ram that will be able to kill Lightnings

 

wow wow wow nicky what is that, KRC 210 cam? clue me in!!! Where can I find one? and what is it, something that adds that much horse power and costs 400 I am in, she just might have to deal with 3500 or something then

 

ok I found the cam but they only make it for the hemi, I have the 4.7L. To bad they dont make it for my truck.

 

oh buddy they make cams for the 4.7 a great person to ask is air ram if you want a fast ride look at his sig and do what he has done, but yea you can get cams for the 4.7 i believe their is a 208 cam and some others but wait for some others to chime in

 

Are the headers long tubes or shortys?

 

If it's speed you want why not sink the money into a sports car? Geeez, I like my truck but performance wise, it can't touch a good sports car.
