Switched from F-150 to RAM!
Well, I did it. After totaling out my 2000 F-150 (212K miles) I was truckless for 2 months. I window-shopped through every used truck lot in 4 counties in Southeastern North Carolina and Northeastern South Carolina, before finding a truly decent 2004 Ram QC 4X4 SLT.
I test drove it and found the ride so much more comfortable and roomier than the F-150 (extended cab, 2WD). The ride was a little stiffer due to 4WD suspension, etc. but I was immediately converted. The dealer and I hammered out a deal on step rails and a bed tool box. I upgraded the 17" wheels to the chrome 20" (yes, some of the guys on this forum don't like them), but they really look good on this big style truck. The truck had 48K miles on it and had been taken really good care of.
I looked at all of the big trucks except the Nissan Titan and am truly satisfied with the RAM. My bird dogs just can't jump high enough to clear that tailgate though!!

A lot of Ford owners are going to Dodge, I'm owned 6 F-150' had a 02 F-150 and a 04 F-150. leased new, the 02 was junk, gave Ford a chance with the 04, now I'm Concerted to Dodge...Ford, Kiss my Ram...

I was a Dodge truck owner for many year went to Ford for a while my self Now just Traded my 2002 F-250 SD 4X4 lifted 37 inch tires ect, that blew out spark plugs rear end the made noise rode rough and always wondering when it going to blow another plug out.
Now I have a 2006 Dodge 1500 4 door love it hands down better truck I know it's a 1/2 ton but I dont haul any thing heavy any more if this truck anying like my old power wagon I going to have this truck for a long time.
