I have a 2004 1500 QC with power locks/windows.

the door lock actuator on the drivers side no longer works and I am looking for help with the replacement process.

I removed the door panel easily enough but am not sure of the next steps. The actuator looks like it is part of the latch mechanism. Do I need to replace the entire latch unit? It is pretty tight in there and it looks tricky to remove - plus there are lots of connector rods attached to it. I was hoping there was just a solenoid that could be replaced...

any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
