Default Any 06 owners get bad mileage?

I'm just wondering if any 06 Hemi owners get bad gasmileage. I'm getting 11.2mpg in my 03 Hemi Ram. And I might buy a 06 ram cause there are alot of rebates going on and gas mileage is much better. All I ask for is 13mpg would be all I needwoth a 26gallon tank that would last me about 10-11days. So what are you 06 owners getting like around 12-15 in the city and 16-19 on the highway?

90% of my driving is on the highway so I couldn't tell you what I get in the city. But the past few tanks I've had I've gotten 16 - 16.75 mpg with about ~5k miles on it. Was a bit below 16 before the extang tonneau. Driving it like the brakes are out helps a lot.

edit: that's hand calculated mileage. The overhead says something retarded like 18.9 - I wish.

14.4 up to 18.8. Calculated by miles driven by gallons to fillup.

I've been getting between 17.5-18.5 combined city/highway. Truck has 1700 miles on it, been up as high as 20.9 when i'm really easy on it

Just under 1300 miles and I average about 14.5 - 15 mpg (1/2 highway - 1/2 city). And yes, I get on it once in a while.

Any Chance those of you with MDS
would reset the trip computer while driving at a steady 55 mph
and go maybe 30-60 miles to see how well a Ram 5.7 would do?

Another interesting test would be to start about 75 mph
very very slowly back off the throttle
and listen for the speed where the MDS will kick in (63 mph ?)

I actually did that this morning on my way to work (62 miles 90% highway), I drive around 60-65mph. After I reset the overhead went from 18.5 to 20.9 when I pulled into the garage. 20.9 seems a little high to me, and also note that I've already said that the overhead is not accurate (though it is reasonable to say that when the overhead goes up yer actual mileage goes up).
