35" tires on stock '05 powerwagon??
I've got a 2005 powerwagon that is stock. I want to upgrade to 35" tires on the stock wheels with no lift. I've heard that you can do this but also that the tires will rub pretty bad without a lift. I offroad with it so I don't want to loose any performance. Anybody out there have any info about this?
35" tires can be done with no rubbing if you do a front end leveling. If you have a 1500 you can torque your torsion bars or if you have a 2500,3500 you can buy spring spacers.
I hate to hijack your thread but I have a similar question. I have an '03 1500 QC 4.7. I'd like to run 35s but I can't afford a suspension lift (and I think body lifts look bad). Is anyone running 35s on a truck similar to mine without a lift and with aftermarket rims? Does it rub anywhere??? I'm thinking it would clear the body but what about rubbing something at full lock???
