I just installed a Mopar CAI on my 06 RAM (Hemi), it sounds great but, it makes a strange noise around 2,100 rpms, sounds like a tick or an exaust manifold leak, is this a normal condition?

Looks Good man. Looks like mine. The only noies i have is the famious HEMI Tick and a wissel sound at WOT. and I hear that's from the TB spacer.

Wow that looks good how much did that set you back ?

I also hear a slight ticking noise as well. Some others have thought it might be the EGR cycling. Your tick may be that as well and not the infamous hemi tick.

Somewhere around $250. I found out that Chrysler employees get 25% discount on parts as well. The employee has to be present with their id though. Saved me a chunk of $ when I bought the mopar steps, floor mats, and CAI.

why do the hemis tick like that? it would seem to me like they would have had enough time to find the problem and fix it?
