Default Xenon Gas Filled Bulbs ??

I am just wondering if running xenon gas filled bulbs in both the driving and fog lights will cause any problems. I picked these up for about $40 bucks a pair. I didnt realize it until I got home but on the package it says "off road use only". Why? I know these arent legal...these are just the replacement bulbs. The brand is American Auto Crystal White and they are part # 9007 (55/65w) for the driving and 9006 (55w) for the fogs. Both are 4200k. Thanks for any feedback.

I'm running 80/100 Hella's on my headlamps and 80's on my fogs with no problems

Thanks. I installed them this afternoon. Tested everything; high and low beam, no issues. I wait until dark then take it for a drive and the driver's side high beam goes out and I am get the "lamp out" light on the dash. I get home and realize that side's high will actually come on for a about a minute then go out again. I checked all connections, the bulb, fuses and cant find any reason for this. Anyone have any ideas...its not that big a deal since it is only the high beams, but the "lamp out" light in the dash is annoying as hell. Anyway to deactivate that dash light until I get this issue resolved? Thanks

If one of the high beams don't work it might be a bulb issue and I'd take them back. I also have the higher wattage bulbs in head and fog lights and haven't had any problems. Some older vehicles can't handle the power of the higher wattage bulbs. I had an 88 Tbird and when I put in the higher wattage bulbs the lights would flicker off and on. U don't even have higher wattage bulbs tho altho I'm not sure if the regular bulbs are 4200K. Not sure but u might want to look into the higher wattage light sockets.

i use some bulbs from Farenheit called Super White Xenon. I use 100W in the headlights, at 80W in the foglights and havent had any problems with em, these are both 5000K too. u can pick em up on-line for under $20 usually.
