I recently had the flowmaster 50 installed on my 2004 4.7 L, V8, and am looking at purchasing the K&N FIPK Air Intake Kit. I have read a few posts recently on how simple this is to install. I am not a mechanic and I don't even change my own oil, but I think I am kind of smart (kind of). Any advice? Thanks!

 

I'm no expert as I just purchased my Dodge, but I've been looking at a K&N intake kit as well and my dad (who's a drag racer with excellent credentials) told me that he recently made a switch from a K&N on his '05 Chevy 3500 Extreme to an AFE intake and he's absolutly THRILLED with it. I bought a K@N off Ebay for $212.00 and I love it if you are looking for more sound that is the way to go . Look for Exotic auto store on Ebay search air filters the further you go into the pages the lower the price . Hope this helps .
