Will be getting either a 2" or 1.5" coil spacers for the front end of my 04 QC 2WD. Some sites say if you get a 2" spacer you need to buy new front shocks, and some say you need new front control arms. Which one is it or is it both? Has anyone done this to their truck and know what i would need if i went with a 2" spacer? I also plan on doing the install myself. I will be renting out some coil compressors, is there anything else that i should look into before starting this project?

 

I'm getting a 2" leveling spacer installed tomorrow. Revtek claims you don't need to relace the factory shocks with there kit. I am skeptical tho.

How much were the spacers?

 

I've seen them from 53.00 up to 300.00.
The ones i got were 199.00. But they ain't spring spacers. I'll take some pics tomorrow and post them.
