It’s been awhile. But if I remember, You disconnect the battery, remove the right front tire, remove the inner finder, to gain axes to the stock air box, remove the stock air box, remove the ground strap, remove the hemi hat, replace the bolts so you can’t see it missing on the intake. Now. Install the new air box. ”I had to cut a small 1x1 V cut at the bottom of the new air box, because the bottom of the filter was hitting the box". Reinstall the inner finder and the tire. Now the MoPar CAI comes with a TB spacer and new longer bolts. Remove the stock 4 bolts, remove the TB install the TBS with the stock orange rubber seal and install the TB with the new bolts. Install the stock air sensor. "I had to put my hand in the tube to install the air sensor". Put the new filter in the new air box install the tube. Put it on the TB first. Now I had to file the mounting flange on the tube so it would move freely on the new dbl threaded bolt. Installed the filter and reconnect the battery. And you’re done. I hope this helps…

Just installed it and "my god" awsome differance. Throttle response much improved, engine sounds mean as hell, lil' bit of a swoosh at WOT and of corse makes my Daytona's Borla exhaust growl and scream. Highly recomend if you wanna do the CAI route.

Question? How often do you have to change the filter on this Mopar Cold Air Intake system?
Being that the filter is exposed, does it get wet during inclement weather?

You never have to change the filter. Just get a cleaning kit. It's very simple to clean. Living up here in Washingtion where it rains My filter never gets wet...
